Day N Vegas 2022 Festival Canceled Due ‘Production, Timing & Logistics Issues’
The organizers of the festival announced Friday (July 1) that the star-studded event – which was scheduled to take place Labor Day weekend – had been canceled due to multiple complications.
“We’re sorry to announce that a combination of logistics, timing and production issues have forced us to cancel Day N Vegas for 2022,” read a statement on the festival’s social media accounts. “The refund process will begin immediately, and funds will appear back to your account within the next 2-4 weeks. All orders will be refunded to the credit card used to complete purchase. If you purchased a festival pass(es) via AXS and have questions about the refund process, please contact AXS via support.axs.com. For Fuse Hotel Package support, please visit daynvegas2022.com for more info.”
The three-day festival announced the lineup on June 7, tapping Travis Scott, SZA and J. Cole as headliners. Marking what would have been Travis Scott’s first festival performance since the Astroworld tragedy in Houston where crowd surges resulted in the death of 10 people and the injury of many others. After being slated to headline the event in 2021, a week after the incident, he was quickly replaced with Post Malone.
Day N Vegas also booked Baby Keem, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, H.E.R, Sabrina Claudio, Tems, Jhene Aiko & Pusha T, to name a few.
