Sexyy Red is all set to keep the fire burning as she heads into 2024 with a brand-new single that’s creating quite the buzz. She recently offered fans a sneak peek of her upcoming anthem on Instagram Live, and it’s all about celebrating her famous “booty cheeks.”
The St. Louis rapper gave her followers a taste of what’s to come, and it’s safe to say that her new track, possibly titled “Booty Cheeks,” is bound to get people talking. In the snippet, she’s seen grooving to the infectious chorus that pays homage to her backside while sporting sweatpants and a white tank top.
In the track’s hook, Sexyy Red confidently raps, “Look at them booty cheeks,” all set to the backdrop of thumping 808s that are sure to get hips moving. While the release date for this tantalizing track remains a mystery, Sexyy Red certainly didn’t hold back during the preview, even though she’s expecting a baby. It’s almost as if she transformed her surroundings into an at-home version of a strip club, with dollars raining down around her.
Fans had a lot to say about the provocative performance. One fan humorously commented, “That baby in there thinking he’s riding with SpongeBob when he was trying to get his license.” Another fan expressed concerns that her time in the limelight might be short-lived, stating, “Her time is almost up. Fellas, we will be okay in about a year. This stuff doesn’t last long. Trust me.”

This isn’t the first time Sexyy Red has faced criticism for twerking while pregnant. Just last month, footage of her dancing during her Terminal 5 NYC concert went viral, and some folks took to social media to voice their disapproval.
One critic exclaimed, “Imagine this being your momma 😂,” while another stated, “She should be ashamed of herself.” Another person expressed concern for the well-being of her unborn child, quipping, “That baby is about to come out sounding like DoodleBob from all that shaking.”
However, Sexyy Red had her fair share of supporters as well. One person argued, “Realistically though, should she stop being an artist and making money just because she’s pregnant?”
Despite the criticism, it seems like the “Pound Town” rapper remains unbothered and determined to stay true to herself, regardless of her pregnancy. She’s currently on her Hood Hottest Princess Tour, with upcoming shows in Florida cities like Tallahassee, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale, before heading to Atlanta.
