Grammy award winning rap star Megan Thee Stallion is creating quite a buzz on social media with tantalizing hints about new music on the horizon. On October 12th, she tweeted a cryptic three-second video featuring her showing off snake fangs, accompanied by the caption, “Let’s begin.”

Over on Instagram, Megan continued to intrigue her fans with a series of three images spelling out “Act One.” The first image showcased a white serpent coiled on a hand, along with a close-up of Megan’s face. Another photo featured her wrists adorned with thorny bracelets, adding to the air of mystery.

In the comment sections of these posts, fans speculated about whether this was a teaser for new music or something related to “Hottieween.” One fan said, “Wait, music or Hottieween? I’m fine with either!” while another proclaimed, “Queen of Halloween. I’m so hyped to see what you’re gonna do this year.”

In a clip shared by The Neighborhood Talk on October 13th, Megan made an exciting revelation about her upcoming project. She disclosed that she will be solely funding this venture, a move prompted by ongoing legal disputes with Carl Crawford’s 1501 Certified record label over contract terms.

Megan explained:

“This part of my album is definitely very much funded by Megan Thee Stallion because we’re trying to get off [1501 Certified]. I have no label right now, and we’re doing everything funded straight out of Megan Thee Stallion’s pockets. So, the budget is coming from me. Motherf**kin’ Hot Girl Productions.”

She went on to say:

“We in my pockets, Hotties, so let’s do our big one… I’m so excited to be doing something for the first time independent since it was just me and my mama. [I’m] so excited because it’s really just me this go-round until we sign to a new label. I don’t want to sign to a new label right now because I just want to do it myself until I’m completely out of [this deal].”

Megan’s journey back into the spotlight over the past few months has been eventful, particularly following the trial and subsequent 10-year prison sentence of Tory Lanez, who was convicted of shooting her in 2020. She recently dropped “Out Alpha The Alpha,” serving as the lead single for the film “D**ks: The Musical,” in which she plays Gloria Masters. The character is described as “a powerhouse woman who seeks to rally fellow females to join her in dismantling the patriarchy and outdoing the males of the world.”

Additionally, in September, the Houston native joined forces with Cardi B to release “Bongos,” and they performed the song at the 2023 MTV Music Video Awards the following month. Megan Thee Stallion’s journey continues to captivate fans as she embarks on her independent music venture, making her the ultimate Hot Girl of the moment.
