A month after dropping his track “Intentional,” Vedo has unveiled another fresh single, “Split.” Co-produced by Cubeatz (known for their work with Drake and Future) and Keyz (noted for collaborations with Chris Brown and Keyshia Cole), “Split” delves into a scenario where lovers find themselves in a heated disagreement that ultimately leads to passionate reconciliation in the bedroom. Vedo’s soulful vocals croon, “Got a confession / When you get mad at me, baby, I think it’s sexy / That’s why whenever we fight, it leads to the bedroom / I wanna love on you even when I can’t stand you.”

Explaining the inspiration behind the track, Vedo shares:

“We’ve all at one point thought that it was sexy when your significant other got mad at you, even if they are overreacting. That’s just them letting you know, ‘Don’t play [with] me.’ That’s how we know they actually care. Just know when they stop getting upset, you have a major problem.”

Accompanying the release of “Split” is a music video directed by AM Visuals. The video begins with a heated argument between Vedo and his love interest before transitioning into a more intimate setting.

“Split” follows Vedo’s previous release, “Intentional,” which dropped on August 18. Both tracks are set to feature on Vedo’s upcoming album, the follow-up to his January release, Mood Swings, which includes the hit single “Do You Mind” featuring Chris Brown.

Starting on October 15, Vedo will kick off his headlining “Still Having Mood Swings Tour” in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with scheduled stops in cities such as St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Tampa, Memphis, and Dallas, among others. The tour is set to conclude on November 12 in Denver, Colorado.
