Last night, Kenneth Petty, husband of Nicki Minaj, stirred up controversy when he posted a video alongside two other men, declaring his intention to find Offset. While there had been no public feuds between the two men, the history between their respective wives has been the subject of much speculation. This video emerged shortly after Cardi B posted a cryptic subtweet following the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), where she wrote, “I ain’t even flinch.”

Cardi’s tweet was widely interpreted as a response to Minaj’s fiery performance at the MTV awards, during which Minaj performed a track that seemed to take aim at her rivals. In the song, Minaj delivered fiery lines such as, “These b**ches ain’t badder than me; you b**ches don’t count, you b**ches can’t count; I’m not the one, two or the three.” She continued, “You b**ches look up to me; you said you look up to her, but really, you look up to me.”

In the late-night video, Kenneth Petty and his companions verbally confronted Offset, expressing their intention to meet him. Despite their search being in New York City, Offset was actually live on Twitch with Kai Cenat from Atlanta at the time. One of the men in the video can be heard saying, “Offset, where you at?” before Kenneth Petty begins to address the situation.

Although the audio quality was not optimal due to background chatter, Petty’s voice can be heard saying, “You n**gas nervous, man. You boys p**sy for real. You b**ches is nervous.” He then asks, “What’s up, man? What’s going on? What y’all trying to do?” seemingly indicating his desire to engage with the former Migos member.

Later in the video, Nicki Minaj’s husband remarks, “We out here to talk, right? Let’s talk, but you know we ain’t talking, though. P**sy a n**ga, I don’t know who y’all think y’all playing with.” This video marked the first public exchange between the husbands of Cardi B and Nicki Minaj.

On the morning of September 16th, Offset responded by posting a video on his Instagram Story, dismissing the group of men as “broke.” In his clip, Offset stated, “I am getting off the jet. What these n**gas talking about?” He then laughed and added, “These n**gas broke. We hopping off jets, b**ch. These n**gas standing outside.”

Offset’s upcoming album, Set It Off is scheduled for release on October 13th, and just dropped his latest visual for his single, “Fan.”
