Last month, New York City was outside as one of music’s biggest festivals made its annual return. The Daze Summit festival took place in New York with Quality Control Music, Roc Nation and Hot 97 along with others.

Taking place over the course of ten days, the festival brought together independent music with industry level networking. Created by Scott Morris and hosted by Nathaniel The Great, the dynamic duo created a unique opportunity and movement for aspiring artist everywhere. Scott’s company, Mor.Bookings Agency is responsible for putting together the growing event each year as well as booking the talent you see.

Previous guests included DJ Drewski, Capella Grey, Coi Leray, Ivy Rivera, Nyla Symone from Power 105.1, Shani Kulture from Hot 97, Jae Tips, and Lil Tecca amongst others.

The festival was filled with panels and events by some of the industry’s most valuable players and taste-makers. From A&Rs to music executives, DJs, producers, publicists, journalists, and radio hosts, each panel was centered on a different topic every day. These conversations offered a lot of insight for many creatives who are still working on their end goal. This year proved to be be one of the most influential ones yet.

Guests at the 2023 Daze Summit included DJ Drewski from Hot 97, Gabe P from On the Radar and Power 105.1, Trev Mulah, Kertasy, Bailey Lawson from Atlantic Records, Coey P from Talk of the Town, DJ Father Z, Stunna Dior, Too Official from Quality Control, Lil Miss Chit Chat, Shake The Block, Jason Reddick from ASCAP, Shauna James from Atlantic Records, Steve Cam from Epic Records, Chris Robinson from Hype Magazine, H Dot from Rolling Loud and InTheKitchen Podcast, Mark Elibert from Billboard, Kanai Puhleaseee A&R for Dead In the Middle and various others.

In the past, Scott Morris has raised an impressive $25,000 to donate towards this cause, demonstrating his commitment to helping young people in the city.
