Shaboozey, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen Leads Nominations for the CMA Awards
Country Music Association has released their nominations for this year. Morgan Wallen is leading the pack with seven nominations at the 58th annual Country Music Association Awards as he will have a heavy competition with Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton and many more.
As Morgan has a heavy duet with newcomer Post Malone called “I Had Some Help,” Post has secure four nominations with Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year. Other producers and songwriters are also on the ballad for nominations with the hit single as well.
This year, it was a pretty hefty decision on who to nominate for Entertainer of the Year as the five nominees were chosen from 2023 and now this year again with Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and returning champion Wilson.
We are all shocked as Beyoncé released her country album, Cowboy Carter, back in March of 2024 and has received zero nominations. This is one of Beyoncé’s best-acclaimed album and top-charting as well. She released her hit single “Texas Hold ‘Em” that peaked on No. 33 on the country charts with limited radio play. As the single reached to No. 1, fans left speculating if the country association members will follow and support the Texas star.
Shaboozey was appeared on Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ album and received two nominations! Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has garned so many attention that it has reached the No. 1 charts for a few weeks. With performances and on tour, the Virginia native has established himself as a rare-form example to the country scene.
