Cardi B is known for her candid and outspoken nature, which recently sparked concern among her devoted fanbase when she tweeted about having suicidal thoughts. However, she has since taken to Instagram Live to clarify her emotional state and reassure her fans.

In her Instagram Live story, Cardi B candidly shared her feelings, saying:

“When I burst, I’m very outspoken. When I get into one of my bad moments, I will literally curse everybody out, and I’ll be like, ‘I want you to die. B****, I wanna die. I don’t give a f***!’ Because that’s just how I’ll be feeling in the moment.”

She went on to explain the circumstances that led to her recent emotional struggles, saying:

“I was just very overwhelmed yesterday. I was very sad. And, I don’t know — I feel like I was just having such a good week, and then, when I got home, and I started paying attention to so much shit that people were saying about me, and all the funny shit about me … I just started getting upset about it.”

This situation unfolded after Cardi B had a confrontation with some Twitter trolls, which escalated quickly. One user made a derogatory comment, and in response, Cardi made a controversial remark. As the exchange continued, Cardi expressed her frustration, even hinting at thoughts of self-harm.

The artist later deleted her posts, but they had already gone viral on social media. Cardi’s sister, Hennessy Carolina, came to her defense, asserting her loyalty to her sister in the face of online criticism.

It’s essential to remember that discussions surrounding mental health are serious and should be treated with sensitivity. Anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts should seek help and support. In the United States, the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, reachable at 988, is available 24/7 to provide assistance to individuals in crisis.
