Rap sensation B.G. has marked his 43rd birthday, with hopes running high that it will be his last one spent behind bars. The artist celebrated the occasion on Sunday (September 3) and took to Instagram to share this significant moment with his fans while confirming his imminent return to freedom after serving thirteen years in federal custody.

“After 12 winters and 13 summers, I see the end zone,” he wrote in the post, which included various pictures showing off his newly chiseled physique. “It’s my last #Birthday being buried alive. This year I’m celebrating the whole Virgo cycle, matter of fact, from this year forward I’m living and celebrating like everyday is #MyBIRTHDAY.”

Nevertheless, B.G. is resolute in his commitment to turning his life around and seizing this newfound opportunity for freedom. His primary goal is to maintain unwavering focus as he endeavors to build generational wealth. “The main focus is to stay focused,” he acknowledged.

“I’m not letting nobody rob me of my productivity, prosperity, positivity, and peace of mind. My dreams then got bigger and my vision is clearer. 13 years was more than enough time for me to change the reckless path I was on. I’m getting back in the 100MillionDolla race, and my big homie gave me the route. #RNS.”

The news of B.G.’s impending release from prison initially surfaced at the end of August when The Jasmine Brand reported that the former Hot Boys member would be regaining his freedom shortly. However, it’s important to note that upon his release, he will still be under a three-year “probationary period” as part of his remaining sentence.

B.G. found himself in legal trouble back in 2009 during a routine traffic stop, where authorities discovered three firearms in the vehicle he was traveling in, two of which were reported stolen. In 2011, he entered a guilty plea to two counts of firearm possession and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice, resulting in a 14-year federal prison sentence.
