We’re kicking off the end of March Madness with a bang! It’s Women’s History Month and the ladies have definitely been dominating the Hip Hop scene in recent years, not to mention they look and sound great while doing it. Since our very last playlist (September 2022), we wanted to put something special together for the girls in rap. MusicXclusives’ very own Brandon Ruffin and Leo Lysius came together for the curation of this compilation celebrating some of the hottest buzz-worthy and mainstream cuts by some of your favorite females out today.

Nicki Minaj leads the pact with her Top 20 Billboard chart-topping street anthem, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” followed by Brooklyn’s finest and newcomer Lola Brooke with her hard-hitting Reefa-produced, “So DISRESPECTFUL” while the fellas chime in and trade bars with girls like GloRilla joined by Lil Durk on “Ex’s (Phantnall Remix)” and the Three 6 Mafia-sampled “DUMB” by Columbia Records signee Rican Da Menace alongside Moneybagg Yo. Shout out to Project Pat! We can’t forget Bronx’s very own Ice Spice with her sentimental “Gangsta Boo” jam featuring Lil Tjay, which ironically enough is named after the late fallen Memphis star. Fresh off of her co-sign with the head barb and queen herself, Nicki Minaj who dubbed her “princess of rap” last week after landing the cover of Dazed’s spring 2023 issue.

Other heavyweight contenders include emerging talent such as Maiya The Don following with her latest male-bashing record, “Dusties,” which samples 50 Cent’s “Magic Stick” as well as Bronx’s Connie Diiamond with “Move,” which samples Ludacris’ 2001 “Move Bitch” and was cleared by him. Let’s ride down south real quick! GloRilla’s best friend Gloss Up also makes an appearance and reps for Memphis big time, while KenTheMan puts on for Houston and pays homage to Trina, and TiaCorine who shines on “FreakyT.” Then we skate up to the Mid-west to hang with Big Boss Vette as she throws a slumber party with all her girlfriends on “Pretty Girls Walk” before recruiting Jersey’s own Coi Leray for the official remix. New York’s BreezyLYN puts on for her city with “BAD BITCHES” meanwhile Latto aims for her next breakout hit with “Lottery” following “Big Energy” before we show the drill scene some love with Brooklyn’s Billy B and Kenzo B tapping in with bestie Young Devyn on “The Facts.”

Elsewhere, we couldn’t resist but include two bonus cuts of our own. After the petite Coi Leray made noise with her banger, “Players” and previewed the official David Guetta remix previously, we couldn’t help but to bop along and hit the dance floor, while one of the biggest songs this year by UK’s very own PinkPantheress dominates the airwaves with her viral cut, “Boy’s a liar Pt. 2” in collaboration with Ice Spice, whose notably the hottest rookie on the scene according to her Spotify monthly listeners. We need Megan thee Stallion and Cardi B back asap cause its about to be a real spicy summer!

Just in time fore the spring season, check out ‘Ladies First,’ our second installment below:
