Active Balla Drops Project, ‘Top Opp On Alert’

Balla or otherwise known as Active Balla, unveils his latest war musical efforts, LP ‘Top Opp On Alert,’ which is on all DSPs via Majorlife. The lead single, “Players Club,” featuring Moneybagg Yo, previewed the fourteen-track project a few months ago. Other features include fellow D.C. native Walkdown Will, Cartel, and Swag.

The pure essence of Balla’s neighborhood within the D.C. parameters, Simple City, which also birthed the legendary Marvin Gaye, is put on full display as he not only puts on for his city but for those who overcome the daily troubles of surviving the ghettos.

Throughout 2021 Balla made a name for himself with features from Big Scarr, Big 30, and fellow DMV legend, Goonew, who unfortunately passed earlier this year. In 2022 however, with a fellow lob from DMV native IDK, Active Balla was a feature on IDK’s conversation with renowned media personality Ebro for a candid discussion for Apple Music right in the heart of Simple City.
