Nicki Minaj Releases Her New Single “Super Freaky Girl” Friday

Barbz are gearing up for another hard hitting drop from the queen of hip-hop Nicki Minaj and we are just as ready.

Nicki Minaj is preparing for what some are referring to as the “NM5” era with her newest single dropping this Friday. The platinum rapper announce on July 12th her new single “Super Freaky Girl” will be dropping August 12th.

The song plays into Minaj’s sex appeal with the sample of Rick James‘ 1981 hit “Super Freak.” he song was originally dubbed “Freaky Girl,” but ultimately Nicki left the name up to fans to decide.

Another treat Nicki is giving to her fans is the return of Queen Radio. Her first show will air on August 11th on the new platform On Amp.

Minaj performed the song for the first time at OVO Fest in Canada following the Young Money Reunion with Drake and Lil Wayne.

Nicki Minaj hasn’t given a date for the album yet however, she has dropped a few single including “Do We Have A Problem?” and “Bussin” both featuring Lil Baby.

Nicki Minaj’s year is gearing up to be a successful. The rapper announced that she will also be recieving the VIdeo Vanguard Award at this year’s MTV Awards.

Nicki becomes the second female rapper to receive the award next to Missy Elliot.
