Musiq Soulchild and Anthony Hamilton to Face off in a Valentine’s Day Verzuz Special

Neo-Soul just became a bit sweeter as both Anthony Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild will join forces and compare their extensive catalogues during a Valentine’s Day Verzuz special, and jumpstart the third season of VerzuzTV.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 15 at the Avalon Hollywood Theatre in Los Angeles, California. As per Verzuz, you will be able to see both Neo-Soul artists battle against each other in a 20-round battle, via Triller and other Verzuz supported platforms. 

Upon the surprising announcement made a few hours ago, Verzuz posted, “This one is for the lovers….” Just a day after Valentine’s Day, apparently to keep the momentum of love amongst the romantic couples. 

According to Rated R&B, Anthony Hamilton is slated to tour with Maxwell and Joe on ‘The Night Tour’ in March whilst promoting his critically acclaimed album, “Love is the New Black.”

Musiq on the other hand, hasn’t released an album since “Feel the Real” in 2017, however, has been touring and performing in different cities throughout his musical hiatus. 

The event takes place at 8:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
