Credit Denied! Summer Walker Slams London On Da Track for Taking Credit for Her Album

When they say art imitates real life, it must be true because it seems Summer Walker is still over it with her baby daddy London On Da Track.

The R&B singer released her second album Still Over It last week Friday. While fans were crooning over the overall greatness the album delivered, some could not help noticing some of the writing credits included the singer’s ex-man.

Now it’s no secret that the album was inspired by the tumultuous relationship between her and London On Da Track. After its release, Summer took to social media thanking London On Da Track writing “& s/o to my ******* baby daddy for giving me the inspo to write this sad ass album.”

London On Da Track seemingly responded saying “Oh **** album out…I’m just glad to be an inspiration keep streaming!”

The album consists of 20 songs which London On Da Track, real name London Tyler Holmes, is credited on 9 of them.

All seem to be good until London reposted a fan’s tweet stating “London On da Track the first n**** in history to get paid off his own diss album!”

It didn’t take long for the post to make its way to the blogging sites including The Shaderoom. Summer let it be known that the producer had nothing to do with the album whatsoever.

“He didn’t WRITE sh*t and he didn’t PRODUCE sht either,” Summer opened. “He just handpicked the niggas he wanted to do all the work and attached his name to it while he was out screwin hoes while I was PREGNANT. The most he did was sprinkle a wind chime effect on a song that was already done then put his name on it, the last album he actually did the work, and it was great project.”

She continued:

““He super talented, but for this album, lol no sir, but I guess guess the city boys is up, taking credit for ish you ain’t do and not actually having to take care of the kids you made. Lol ima go back to minding my business, this just triggered the hell out me.”

We have all gotten to see Summer Walker and London On Da Tracks’ relationship play out over the past couple of years. While they couldn’t keep it together they did welcome their daughter, Bubbles, in March of this year.

Her album is a detailed story of all the things she experienced throughout that time with the multi-platinum producer.

Still Over It has broken numerous records for an R&B singer including the Biggest R&B album debut ever on Apple Music.
