Locked in a dead heat with Drake for the top spot on the Billboard 200, Youngboy Never Broke Again adds two tracks to his newest album Sincerely, Kentrell. Despite wildly mixed reviews, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy has been dominating the charts, effortlessly disposing of all new challengers to its current top spot for the past three weeks. This week’s challenger to Certified Lover Boy has been identified as NBA Youngboy’s Sincerely, Kentrell, and with a little more than a day left in the music week, it’s currently a neck and neck race to the finish.

The current count as reported by Akademiks currently stands at Youngboy’s Sincerely Kentrell selling 131 thousand units this week and Drake’s Certified Lover Boy selling 132 thousand units. While it’s already impressive that Youngboy can put up these types of album sales numbers without the major push many other artists get, it appears Youngboy may not be in this numbers battle for moral victories.

On September 28th, Youngboy added ‘Still Waiting’ and ‘Footstep’ to Sincerely, Kentrell raising the total number of tracks on the album to 23 and hopefully boosting the album sales enough to stand alone in that number one spot on the Billboard 200 next week. With the current numbers battle being so nip and tuck, the addition of the two bonus tracks can likely be what pushes Certified Lover Boy off the three-week-old throne the album currently sits in atop the charts. Fans who have been obsessively streaming Certified Lover Boy or Sincerely, Kentrell will have to wait until Tuesday to see if their dedication to streaming their favorite artist’s most recent album has paid off.
