Solidifying his retreat from his nearly year-long retirement, Logic announces his new project, Bobby Tarantino III with a target date for release set for July 30th. One could make the argument Logic came out of retirement on June 18th with the release of his track ‘Intro’ along with an accompanying press release that stated, “I’m back,” mimicking the press release Michael Jordan released before his return to the NBA in 1995. Since then, Logic has gone on to release four additional tracks that go by the names of ‘Vaccine,’ ‘Get Up,’ ‘My Way,’ and ‘Call Me.’ In hindsight with the release of five tracks in addition to the press release I mentioned earlier, one should’ve seen a new album from Logic on the horizon.

Nevertheless, it appears that Logic either accomplished everything he wanted to with his “retirement” or realized how much he missed the music-making process as along with the announcement of Bobby Tarantino III came the release of the cover art for the pending project. With the release of Bobby Tarantino III on the docket this Friday, fans who missed Logic and his music will now have the chance to be reunited with their favorite rapper.
