Brooklyn’s Kai Ca$h Drops ‘711’ (Deluxe) With A Shoutout From 7Eleven

Earlier this month, Brooklyn’s Kai Ca$h dropped 711 (Deluxe) – the follow up to his popular 711 EP released in January. 

The deluxe version adds 5 new tracks to the already hot 7-track EP, adding an extra dimension and flavor that rounds out the signature-sounding project. With this project, Kai Ca$h aims to set the tone for his sound and brand as an artist – rounding out his distinct, confident sound while taking calculated risks that paid off. 

New additions on the deluxe include “Never Easy” – a smooth track with interesting, electronic production from one of the architects of the Brooklyn drill sound, AxlBeats – marked by the iconic “Axl” beat tag and asymmetrical hi hats. There’s also “Hot Boyz”, a bass-heavy with big cinematic production from the Grammy nominated Rob Holladay – as well “Helen Keller”, with another feature from the quietly rising star out Chicago, CEO Trayle. 

Kai Ca$h must be doing something right, because the 711 (Deluxe) even wound up on the radar of the actual 7Eleven – receiving a shoutout from the convenience store chain’s official twitter account, presumably in response to the project being titled 711 and dropping on July 11th (7/11):

Overall, Kai Ca$h was able to put together an impressive, well-polished body of work with 711, furthering his confident, lyrical style while exploring new sounds and different styles of production:
