Josh Clarke and TVGucci Connect For “Labeled A Boss” Remix

Canada’s young talent is garnering major notice

Josh Clarke from up north connect with OVO affiliate TVGucci on a remix of “Labeled A Boss,” which embodies the two confidently rapping their rising stardom over a dramatic beat. Sonically meshing Clarke’s melodic hymnals with TVGucci’s grittier hard-hitting lyrics make for a superior hip hop song that not only showcases originality but ingenuity.

Their chemistry together is like The Phoenix Sun’s All-Star backcourt of Chris Paul and Devin Booker taking turns hitting game-winning shots during this year’s playoffs. The video parodies Will Smith’s hit film iRobot along with the themes of Batman.

Sci-Fi themed throughout then visual with effect-laden scenes has the ability to glue to have viewers’ eyes to their television or smartphone screens. It’s a perfect combination of video quality and treatment, which I want to see more of from artists in general.
