Bobby Shmurda Seen In The Studio Cooking Up With 42 Dugg

(July 14th, 2021) It looks like the wait for new music from Bobby Shmurda may be coming to a close. 

Last night, Bobby was seen on his IG story in studio with the red-hot, 42 Dugg. Both artists posted snippets of new music to their stories – which you can see here or here.

This was only the second preview we’ve heard of new Bobby Shmurda music since his highly publicized release from prison after 6 years back in February. From the little we’ve seen so far, it seems like Bobby is bringing that same high energy he’s known for – both snippets previewing relentless, upbeat flows that bring us right back to 2014. 

It may be a reach, but posted along with one of the preview videos on Bobby’s story is “Leo Season” – his zodiac sign given his upcoming August 4th birthday – but maybe also a possible hint as to when we could expect to see a release…perhaps a project or maybe a single featuring Rowdy Rebel and/or 42 Dugg?

The rising star out of Detroit, Michigan, 42 Dugg, linked up with the young Brooklyn legend during his latest trip to NYC – where he’s been seen multiple times inexplicably wearing a Yankees bubble coat during a heat wave. While in NY he also linked with Oz Sparx, an exciting new artist emerging out of Philly – and was spotted courtside at the Dyckman Basketball game.

In the end, it’s great to see Bobby free and back making music – especially next to an exciting, gritty act like 42 Dugg. It’s understandable that he’s been taking his time before releasing music… but when he does we’ll all be ready for it!
