Cover Art for Pop Smoke’s ‘FAITH’

With the press of a button and the sending of a tweet, Steven Victor has announced the next album from deceased Brooklyn Drill rapper, Pop Smoke along with a release date. The second posthumous album from Pop Smoke goes by the name of FAITH and comes approximately a year after the release of the first Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon. FAITH is expected to be released on Friday, July 16th.

The announcement of FAITH is a welcome sight for fans of the Brooklyn Drill phenom who have been wondering when another body of work would be coming. As of now, all we have is the cover art, in addition to the release date and of course name of the project, however, fans should be able to lay eyes upon the tracklist before the release of the incoming album this Friday.

FAITH is an opportunity for fans to celebrate the music and legacy of Pop Smoke in addition to getting a sneak peek of what he was working on before his untimely demise. On Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon, fans were treated to a different side of Pop Smoke’s music that provided diversity outside of his signature Brooklyn Drill sound that gave us smash hits such as “Welcome To The Party” and “Dior.” Tracks such as “Got It On Me” and “For The Night” featuring Lil Baby and DaBaby further solidified Pop Smoke’s superstardom. With the polish being applied to Pop Smoke’s second posthumous project, fans patiently await the release of the tracklist and maybe lead single before the release of FAITH on July 16th.
