Alabama’s own Yung Bleu announces his debut album Moon Boy, setting a target date of July 23rd for the album’s release. The announcement came via Instagram along with an accompanying hype video and cover art. Along with the announcement of his incoming debut album, Yung Bleu also announced tour dates for his Moon Boy album. The Moon Boy Tour is set to start in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 26th and touch 38 cities before ending in Seattle, Washington on October 9th. Joining Yung Bleu on tour are artists, Ann Marie, Seddy Hendrix, and Noby.

In a lengthy Instagram caption, Yung Bleu wrote, “I WANT TO GIVE A SPECIAL THANKS TO EVERY FAN THAT MADE THIS POSSIBLE. EVERY PERSON WHO EVER BELIEVED IN ME. I OVERCAME SO MANY OBSTACLES THIS YEAR. SO MANY PERSONAL STRUGGLES. SO MANY LOSSES IT FEEL GOOD TO DROP MY FIRST ALBUM AND TELL MY STORY.” Further on in the Instagram caption, Yung Bleu states that he has done songs with Drake, John Legend, and Chris Brown, with the two latter artists set to make an appearance on the incoming debut.

With R&B behemoths John Legend and Chris Brown set to make an appearance on Moon Boy, expectations for Yung Bleu’s debut album are steadily on the rise. Looking to see if he can capitalize on the momentum of his hit single “You’re Mines Still” featuring Drake, which peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in March, fans are now on the edge of their seat as they await more information about Yung Bleu’s debut.
