After a wait that can only be described as an eternity, fans of Top Dawg Entertainment’s own Isaiah Rashad are now in possession of a release date for the rapper’s upcoming album. The news, coming from Top Dawg himself is as follows: Isaiah Rashad’s The House Is Burning is set for release on Friday, July 30th.

The announcement is a breath of fresh air for fans who have been proverbially hyperventilating over the lack of news coming from the Isaiah Rashad side. Rashad had been relatively active in the past two months with the release of his first single, “Lay Wit Ya” featuring Duke Deuce in early May followed by “Headshots (4r Da Locals)” which saw daylight in the middle of June. In following along with the pattern of music releases in this role out, one can surmise that fans will get one last sample from The House Is Burning in July before the release of the full project on the 30th.

The release of The House is Burning will effectively end the nearly five-year drought without a full-length project from Isaiah Rashad, with his last project, The Sun’s Tirade being released in September of 2016. With this rollout seemingly moving at the pace of molasses on a cold day, there’s no expectation of a timetable for when fans will be informed on tracklists or another single. All we know for sure up to this point is Isaiah Rashad’s The House Is Burning is set for release on July 30th.
