After the massive success of his 2018 project, NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES, fans who are willing to shoot you if Young Metro don’t trust you have been in a fast of Metro beats in the past few years. Of course, Metro Boomin once again partnered with frequent collaborator, 21 Savage to deliver the 2020 masterpiece SAVAGE MODE II which featured tracks such as “Runnin” and “Mr. Right Now” featuring Drake but aside from this one project, production from Metro Boomin has slowed down in recent years.

However, the tide may be turning as Metro Boomin took to Instagram this week to drop off a few pictures of himself working in the studio captioned “album mode.” Now while all this means is that fans can expect new beats from Metro Boomin soon, it doesn’t exactly give much information in regards to a title, target quarter for release and if it is in fact another project similar to NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES.

While we have no details in regards to what Metro could potentially be planning, the announcement of the “album mode” switch being flipped to on could mean music from one of the most impactful producers in the past six years could be coming soon. While fans wait to see if a NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES follow up is in the cards Metro Boomin appears to be in the studio working hard to ensure that fans who want some more can get new music soon.
