Hot 97’s Summer Jam is Live in Action on August 22nd
Hot 97 Summer Jam was one of the prominent and longest-running concert series that was postponed due to the pandemic last year, however, they are returning in person at the MetLife Stadium on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Last year, it seemed as if everything became a stand still. Frequenting restaurants, movie theatres, museums, and concerts were a thing of a past while facing the ‘new normal.’ However, since covid vaccines are now shelling out and more than half of the adult population in the United States are completely vaccinated.

Marketing Manager of Hot 97 Ron deCastro announced earlier today of the postmuthus concert and elaborated with distinction of the excitement. “Hot 97’s Summer Jam is back on August 22nd, as the first New York metro music festival of 2021, and we’re excited to put on an amazing show. We are committed to health and safety as we welcome our fans back to MetLife Stadium.”
Back in 2019, Hot 97’s Summer Jam had one of the hottest performing acts to date, ranging from: Cardi B, Davidoo, Megan The Stallion, City Girls, Melli, and Migos to name a few.
Currently, there are no details as to who will be performing, however, tickets will be on sale on June 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM (EST) via Ticketmaster.
Portions of the ticket purchases will go to Hip Hop Has A Heart Foundation which will go to local community and outreach programs.
