Trey Songz Sued For Battery – Allegedly Punches Bartender

Oop! I wonder who caught that video in slow motion. Looks like Trey Songz is finding himself in some deep trouble as the R&B heartthrob is being sued for an incident that allegedly occurred last year at Cardi B’s Fashion Nova launch party in May 2019.

While the “Brain” singer had a previous charged dropped with his altercation with the cops at the top of the year, looks like this incident is coming back to haunt him. According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the bartender says that Songz jumped on the bar at the Fashion Nova event to sit and watch the unveil of Cardi’s newline, to which the bartender told Trey it’s against the venue’s policy.

Songz apparently ignored the request to step down from on top of the bar, and this is where things get a little physical. The bartender shares in the legal document that he put his hand on Songz back to gain his attention, pleading for him to get down. This infuriated the 36-year-old singer, where the bartender claims that Songz proceeded to strike him in the head with a closed fist, looked at the other bartenders, and continued to watch the show.

The bartender shares that he suffered suffered physical pain and emotional and psychological injury as a result of the alleged attack, and he’s suing for damages. Trey and his team has yet to share a statement.
