“Made so much magic in the small quarantine room. Now Just piecing it all together. It’s so beautiful.” The Weeknd on Twitter

Grammy Award winner, The Weeknd has produced masterful art since being introduced in early 2011. He has defied the odds of breaking barriers, being multi-dimensional in composing music, and unapologetically displaying his eccentric demeanor.

It has been a year since the release of his last project, After Hours and The Weeknd is on the brink of releasing another project. In the year 2020, the Canadian native released and collaborated on a plethora of singles – 10 of which reached on US and global charts, including “Off the Table” with pop icon Ariana Grande.

Dated back in September, the Canadian native sat down with The Rolling Stone, stating that he has been utilizing his quarantine time to create new music. “I might have another album ready to go by the time this quarantine is over,” in addition, the popstar adds, “But it’s like I’ve got to do the same type of song. I’m so happy, I’m not like that. My palette is so wide.” In which, The Weeknd has showcased the different plateaus he can reach successfully. From R&B, Pop, Punk Rock, to Classical.

As we wait for The Weeknd to release his new project, we can also anticipate another collaborative effort with Doja Cat on a new single titled “You Right.” The single has yet to be released, however, this will be on Doja’s forthcoming album Planet Her. Back in 2020, the duo paired up on another Doja Cat’s single, “In Your Eyes (Remix) which spiraled over 100 million streams and views.
