H.E.R.’s signature mezzo-soprano octaves combined by the simplicity of the style of her attire, sunglasses, and ferocious tendrils – has been held captive within the music lovers for a couple of years now.

2021 has embarked a landmark for the singer-songwriter, snagging two Grammy awards and being nominated for an Oscar and now, a Golden-Globe nomination for “Fight for You,” to Judas and the Black Messiah.

The 23-year-old multi-dimensional artist has defied the odds that remaining authentic to your roots would embellish a steadfast fanbase. Releasing projects such as H.E.R. Volume I & II, I Used to be H.E.R and collaborative gestures with Skip Marley, Jhene Aiko, YG, Rick Ross, and more recently Chris Brown, there is no telling which direction the eccentric butterfly would spread her wings toward.

What we do know, however, is that H.E.R. is on the brink of releasing her debut album under RCA Records sooner than we expected. On Friday (April 21st), while H.E.R. promotes her new single “Come Through,” that features Chris Brown – she also took to social media to unveil the official name of her critically acclaimed album, titled, “Back of My Mind.”

Still, there is no indication as to when the album is slated to be available, but as H.E.R. is very talented, she is also very strategic. However long it does take to release, it will be worth the patience.
