.@NickiMinaj Does Another Collaboration with Convicted Rapist @6ix9ine

Nicki Minaj made an announcement on her Twitter page that she and rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, or simple 6ix9ine, are releasing another collaboration entitled “#Trollz” (I’m not sure if the song is supposed to be hashtagged or whatever, but that;s how she announced it so I’m leaving it there). Now, this isn’t her first collaboration with the convicted felon. She also recorded “Fefe” with him in 2018, which was temporarily available as a bonus track on her Queen album. Her collaboration drew a lot of criticism with him in the past for the fact that in 2015, he was found guilty of performing sexual acts with a 13 year old girl on video and used the video to promote viral music, which goes against much of her “girl power” image and messages.

Well, this time Onika is releasing a new music video with 6ix9ine tomorrow at midnight. Keep in mind, she said a portion of the proceeds is supposed to go to “The Bail Project Inc. She said “the fund provides free bail assistance to low-income individuals who can’t afford to pay bail,” then followed up with a #BlackLivesMatter hashtag. It’s a bit ironic she’d do this when she recorded the song with a non-Black man who likes to use the N-word. Keep a look out on the track, if you want to hear it. Again, the video drops tomorrow at midnight.
