Shamari DeVoe is one of the founding members of multi-platinum R&B/pop girl group Blaque from the late 90s/early 2000s who found success with Billboard chart-topping hits like “808” and “Bring It All to Me,” as well as her starring role in the film, ‘Bring It On.’ Although the group disbanded over the years, and with the passing of group member Natina Reed in 2012, Shamari still managed to keep pushing forward. She later married husband, Ronnie DeVoe of the famed group New Edition as well as the group Bel Biv DeVoe, and now RBRM, and recently joined the cast of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ Shamari and Ronnie have been working on music together for sometime now, and dub themselves Me&Mari. She also told us about her strong relationship with her husband and what it means. Blaque also just released their album, ‘Torch’ which is available on all streaming platforms now.
