Stream DJ Khaled’s New Album, Father of Asahd

Hip-Hop maestro DJ Khaled returns with another all-star father/son project today, titled, Father of Asahd. Named after his son, Khaled’s tenth solo album is the second executive produced project with three-year-old son Ashad, following their 2017 project, Grateful.

Featuring guest appearances from Hip-Hop’s biggest names like Cardi B, Migos, Lil Wayne, Chance the Rapper, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Lil Baby, Big Sean, Travis Scott, and Post Malone. The album features previously released singles, “No Brainer” and “Top Off”. Upon the album’s release, Khaled shared a brand new video for the particular single, “Higher”, featuring John Legend and slain recording artist Nipsey Hussle.

The video marks Nipsey Hussle’s final appearance alive as it was shot merely days before his untimely death. Directed by Eif Rivera, “Higher” was shot in Los Angeles where Nipsey was born and raised.

All proceeds generated from “Higher” will be donated to Nipsey Hussle’s two children, Emani and Kross.  Khaled would explain the personal journey he took throughout this album and after the loss of Nipsey in a heartfelt letter to fans, shown below.

DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd is available now via Epic/We The Best.
