It is being reported that founding member of the popular R&B boy band Raz B was arrested this morning (Wed, May 1) after getting into a physical altercation with his girlfriend, Kallee Brookes at a parking lot in Minneapolis. According to sources, Raz was acting out in self defense when his girlfriend allegedly attacked him.
Raz B, whose real name is DeMario Thornton, is currently facing a domestic assault charge and is being held without bail at Minneapolis City Hall. His group, B2K has a show tonight at the Target Center as part of their Millennium reunion tour. Reports are saying that the 34 year old tried to strangle and choke his girlfriend after an argument took place. His girlfriend has been his support system during the tour, which he threatened to quit early on, due to safety issues, and feeling “unappreciated” by his fellow group members.
It’s unclear how this will affect the tour. The “Millennium Tour,” B2K’s first tour in more than a decade, has 10 more stops left and is scheduled to wrap May 26 in Las Vegas.
