Fantasia is gearing up for the release of her new album. The 34 year old has officially parted ways with her former and longtime label, RCA Records, and is now an independent artist. This mean she’s free to do things her way, and with that said, the North Carolina native has a dream collaboration for us that fans have been waiting on for years now. While streaming an Instagram Live on Monday evening, Fanny shared that she will have both Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan on her new project.
Speaking to one Instagram user @Team_Fantasia, the soulful songstress shared more on the trio’s collab. “They are both my favorites. I turn into a little groupie when I see Jazmine. I love her and I love Bran,” said Fantasia.
Many can expect nothing short of amazing with these three ladies on one record together, as they are adored by their diehard fans. Fantasia said, “I wanted to kind of reach back and touch some different eras when it came to that girl group. I was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be dope if we had a girl group where it was Jazmine, Fantasia, and Brandy?’ Let’s just put it on an album.”
This Friday, Fantasia will premiere her new single “Enough” from her forthcoming album.
