Dallas MC Yella Beezy is currently blowing up on the scene after his hit single, “That’s on Me” got him to open up for Jay-Z and Beyonce during their ‘On The Run II’ tour stop in his hometown back in September. The 26 year old rapper just released his album, ‘Ain’t No Goin’ Bacc’ through HITCO (founded by L.A. Reid) and recently faced some adversity when he was shot several times back in October in Tecas during a drive-by. In our interview, Yella told our very own, Silva some of his musical influences from back at home, as well as some from New York such as 50 Cent and The Notorious B.I.G. He also opened up about giving back to his community through charity work, some of the producers he worked with on the album, upcoming tour dates, and more.
