Avery Wilson Talks ‘FYI’ EP, Going Indie, Being Single, Growth, New Album + More

Avery Wilson will one day be revered as one of the greatest vocalists of our time. He garnered attention as an artist after appearing on Season 3 of The Voice before being cut, but then later landed a major label deal with Clive Davis through RCA Records. The deal was later severed, but he continued to pursue his passion as an artist, which ultimately led him to working with Grammy award winning & songwriter Sean Garrett but has since parted ways. Now, as an indie artist, Avery is grown and ready to take charge of his path. His brand new EP, ‘FYI’ has just released and he’s in the driver seat this time. The 23 year old has written or co-written the entire project and even lands some co-production credits as well on the 5-track set. Our very own, Tabitha Williams sat down with the powerhouse singer to discuss his journey for the past 6 years, from falling in love to being single, heartbreak, his growth both personally and professionally, being a full dimensional artist who not only sings, but also dances, acts, and models. Avery Wilson is ready to rack up some Grammy’s and headline his own tours, and so much more.
