The fourth annual Run The World Summit wrapped Sunday in New York City, concluding a two-day gathering of wellness, leadership, and community-building that centered women—and, for the first time, men—of color. Organized by the Women In Power Collective, the June 21–22 event brought together attendees under the theme “The Essence of Purpose and Relationships.”

This event is the brainchild of Kadeisha Solange, who founded Women in Power Collective.

From sweat sessions to soul-searching conversations, the summit fused fitness, networking, and cultural dialogue in a format designed to nourish both body and spirit.

This year’s event was supported by sponsors including Madame Noire, JPMorgan Chase, Shea Moisture, Refinery29’s “Unbothered,” Belaire, and Lobos 1707 Tequila.

A Weekend Rooted in Intention

Programming began with two exclusive pre-summit experiences. On June 19, Women In Power teamed up with City Girls Golf to host “Golf & Slay,” a Juneteenth celebration at X-Golf Brooklyn that combined luxury sport with sisterhood. The following evening, speakers and sponsors gathered at Lobos 1707 headquarters for a private welcome reception highlighting community leadership.

Wellness, Strategy, and Representation

Saturday’s Wellness Day at Safe Space Studio in Brooklyn featured high-intensity workouts, meditation, pilates, and intention-setting exercises. A midday mixer hosted by Courtnee Williams capped the day with reflection and connection.

The summit continued Sunday at The Tillary Hotel with keynote panels, curated brunch, brand activations, and breakout sessions covering topics like motherhood, faith, entrepreneurship, and emotional well-being. BET’s Erica Knox moderated main stage conversations, while the debut of a Men’s Wellness Panel created space for honest dialogue among Black men and allies.

Uplifting Entrepreneurs and Economic Power

A central feature of the weekend was the Black-owned vendor marketplace, showcasing women-led businesses in wellness, beauty, and lifestyle. The space functioned as both a revenue generator and visibility platform for entrepreneurs, reinforcing the summit’s focus on sustainability and economic justice.

What’s Next for Women In Power

Following the success of Run The World 2025, the Women In Power Collective is planning a new activation this August in recognition of National Wellness Month. Organizers say future events will continue to focus on intentional healing, culturally rooted leadership, and multigenerational community impact.
