2 Chainz and Kirk Franklin Had Dominated the Second Annual Blavity Festival in Atlanta

Kirk Franklin and 2 Chainz headlined this year’s festival.
Blavity had came to Atlanta this year with their 2-day festival in Atlanta, Georgia. It is a celebration of black innovation, wealth building and cultural experiences that brought everyone together. This year’s line-up had featured Keith Lee, Karen Civil, Mattie James, Marsai Martin, Amber Grimes, Andre Dickens with headliners performances by 2 Chainz and Kirk Franklin.
2 Chainz had performed some iconic hits such as “Presha,” “It’s A Vibe,” “No Lie,” “Birthday Song,” and the list goes on. The Tity Boi King himself gave a phenomenal performance that took us back to the early 2000s with his mixtape days. “The Big Amount” star has recently released his debut film plus song feature for the film with the legendary group The Isley Brothers called “THE ATL EXPERIENCE.” It gives us a classic feels on how Atlanta use to be.
Kirk Franklin had performed on Sunday giving us praise and worship throughout his performances by performing “Melodies From Heaven,” “I Smile,” “Revolution” and many more. He gave the sanctuary the mic by having them singing and praising him and the others in audience filled with worship.
The panel discussions were amazing! She also had Andre Dickens had started us off by giving a visionary fireside chat to exploring entrepreneurship, the arts and shaping the collaboration throughout the community. Followed by Trell Thomas, Founder of Black Excellence Brunch, sat down by creating spaces to celebrate Black community and spark legacy. Karen Civil had came in and discussed her journey as a media maven in the industry and working on how to do the work life balance, building a lasting brand that thrives beyond social media.
This year, it gave us a in-depth of what it will be next year during Memorial Day Weekend in 2026. The tickets are on sale for General Admission for $50 and VIP for $100.
