Brooklyn’s Barclays Center was alive with energy on Friday, March 21, as Millennium Tour 2025 brought a wave of early 2000s R&B and hip-hop to a sold-out crowd. The night featured a stacked lineup of icons from the era, including Trey Songz, Bow Wow, Omarion, Rick Ross, Plies, Lloyd, the Ying Yang Twins, and more, delivering a night packed with nostalgia and unforgettable performances.

The evening kicked off right on time at 8 p.m. with Nivea, whose brief but impactful opening act included her signature 2002 track “Laundromat.” The crowd warmed up quickly, but things truly erupted when the Ying Yang Twins hit the stage. Their set, bursting with high-energy anthems like “Wait (The Whisper Song),” “Salt Shaker,” and “Get Low,” transformed the arena into a full-blown dance party.

Shortly after, the crowd welcomed RSVP—a supergroup composed of Ray J, Sammie, Bobby V, and Pleasure P. Ray J emerged masked for “Sexy Can I,” followed by a heartfelt rendition of “One Wish” as he made his way through the audience. Sammie impressed with his vocals on “Kiss Me Thru the Phone,” while Pleasure P earned a massive singalong with “Did You Wrong.” Bobby V wooed fans with roses, piano melodies, and a powerful a cappella snippet from “Mrs. Officer.” The group’s chemistry and stage presence radiated throughout their time on stage, each member hyping the others while delivering their individual hits.

Plies brought grit and charisma, drawing huge reactions with fan-favorites like “Plenty Money,” “Bust It Baby (Remix),” and “Shawty.” His bold presence and crowd interaction added a raw energy to the night.

Omarion’s performance leaned into his strengths as both a vocalist and dancer, supported by tight choreography and backup dancers. He glided across the stage to the sounds of “Touch,” “Icebox,” and more, while his brother O’Ryan took over during transitions to keep the audience’s energy high.

Bow Wow received one of the loudest welcomes of the night. The rapper dove into his extensive catalog with tracks from his So So Def days like “Fresh Az I’m Iz” and “Shortie Like Mine.” In a surprise announcement, he teased new music coming soon in collaboration with Chris Brown, exciting long-time fans.

Each performer delivered not only a trip down memory lane, but also a reminder of their lasting influence on today’s music scene. For fans both old and new, it was a night to remember—filled with hits, memories, and the joy of a shared musical past.
