Boyz II Men, Master P, GloRilla, Davido are Set to Perform at Essence Festival in New Orleans

Essence has announced their first part of their line-up for Essence Festival with a powerful message.

Essence has announced Part one of their line-up for Essence Festival this year. As they return, they come with a powerful message: We Are Made Like This. As they are refreshing our feed with positivity, they didn’t come to play this year! The first wave of lineup is Boyz II Men, Davido, Maxwell, Master P, GloRilla, The Isley Brothers, Nas, Summer Walker, Jermaine Dupri presents and “Essence Flowers” tribute to Quincy Jones. As it will be 55 years celebrating, they want to bring an unforgettable memories of legacy, live music and culture. It will take place and reunite from July 4 through 6 at the Caesars Superdome and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

As this is big and huge for the Essence family reunion community, we can only imagine what the second wave announcement of artists will be!

GloRilla has had one heck of a ride by dropping her platinum album charting titled ‘Glorious’ that has exceptional appearances such as T-Pain, Muni Long, Kirk Franklin, Bossman Dlow, Megan Thee Stallion and many more. As the Memphis Princess has set a record with every sold out tour date, she keeps breaking barriers and setting the tone for what it is to come.

Summer Walker is gearing up to go on tour as the opener for Chris Brown at the Breezy Bowl 20th year mark of his career. Fans are already speculating that Summer already playing as she is stressed about additional tour dates being added but that doesn’t stop the Atlanta artist for performing hits. The “Heart of a Woman” artist has posted that the album is cooking and on the way as she is preparing for the tour.

With legendary groups, Boyz II Men and The Isley Brothers, we are in a run for some amazing hit performances and vocals followed by it. I know you want to “groove with” the Isley Brothers and Boyz II Men taking us back to crying about our mamas praising them for how they provide. It will be an illustrious weekend in New Orleans. The festival theme serves as both an affirmation and a rallying cry. It speaks to the generations of Black brilliance that have shaped the world and continue to move it forward.
