BigXthaPlug Shines at iHeart Radio Music Awards After ‘Best New Artist’ Nomination – Hits Red Carpet with NLE Choppa

Dallas’ multi-platinum breakout star BigXthaPlug attended the iHeart Radio Music Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, where he was nominated for ‘Best New Artist.’ The nomination solidifies his position as one of hip-hop’s biggest breakout stars, and he hit the red carpet alongside fellow headliner NLE Choppa. This standout appearance comes on the heels of BigXthaPlug’s music video release for his hit single ‘2AM’, and just ahead of a series of major performances. He’s set to take the stage at Coachella 2025, Gov Ball 2025, the second leg of his “Take Care” Tour, and the Wham World Tour with Lil Baby, which kicks off on July 1 in Los Angeles.

It’s been an outstanding year for BigXthaPlug, as he’s currently making waves as Billboard’s latest ‘Genre Now’ Issue cover star, and his chart-topping single “Change Me” was just named the official team song for the NFL Philadelphia Eagles at the 2025 Superbowl where he performed at OBJ & Friends Superbowl pre-game and the Philadelphia Eagles winners afterparty.  

He was recently named XXL’s Best New Artist of the Year and his single “The Largest” was ranked number one on Urban Radio this month. Additionally, BigXthaPlug, just concluded the first leg of his sold-out 32-city Take Care North American tour with a grande finale at Rolling Loud Miami.
