LiAngelo Ball Called Out by Ex Nikki Mudarris Over Kids Claims

LiAngelo Ball, the basketball player turned rapper, Gelo, is facing backlash from baby mother, after he made claims that he is with their children “every day.” The accusations come after Ball expressed frustration in an interview over being labeled a “deadbeat” father.
In the interview, Gelo was vocal about how he doesn’t appreciate being labeled in a negative light, especially when it comes to his role as a father. “Sh-t I don’t like is when ni–as say I’m like a deadbeat pops… ‘cause I be with my young ni–as every day for real. I raise them,” he said, defending his parenting. Although he didn’t directly name Nikki in the interview, it was clear that the comments were related to the ongoing drama between the two. He also added, “I feel like a lot of sh-t be misleading sometimes,” which seemed to be a thinly veiled response to Mudarris’ previous claims about him not being involved with their children.
However, Nikki, also known as Miss Nikki Baby, took to Instagram to set the record straight. The Love & Hip Hop star shared a series of posts that accused Gelo of being absent from their kids’ lives for a period of six weeks. She seemed to contradict Gelo’s claims by revealing that he had not spent time with their two children for over a month and a half. Nikki made it clear that his recent comments about being a present father didn’t align with her reality.
This public back-and-forth between the two started earlier this year when Nikki accused Gelo of abandoning their family. After the two broke up, Gelo seemed to move on quickly, debuting a new girlfriend soon after the split. Nikki took to Instagram to voice her frustration, claiming that she was blindsided by Gelo’s actions. She also made it known that she was fully capable of living a lavish life without him.
In her Instagram posts, Nikki shared a glimpse of her fun night out with Black Ink Crew star Sky, highlighting their drinks, laughter, and a stop at a strip club. Throughout her posts, Nikki seemed to throw shots at Gelo, posting, “This ain’t that little rap money, this that real money, no puppy, this the big dwag,” a remark aimed at the rapper’s newfound fame and fortune.
The messy breakup between the two continues to play out in the public eye, with each of them making their feelings known on social media. As tensions rise, it seems clear that both parties have strong opinions about their roles as parents and the state of their co-parenting relationship.
