T-Pain recently addressed fans’ curiosity about why he opts for commercial flights instead of private jets, and he did it in quite a theatrical manner.

On Tuesday (March 4), according to HipHopDX, the “Buy U a Drank” artist posted a video on his Instagram while on a plane, where he broke down the expenses of flying private. He titled the video: “You wanna know how much a private jet costs?”

Teddy Pain showcased an app on his phone that displayed the price for chartering a private Gulfstream jet for a round trip from Atlanta to Las Vegas: a whopping $126,574.

He emphasized that this was a prime example of “spending all this money to go make money.”

“Why would you do that? In what world is that smart?” the rapper asked. “[If I did that], y’all would be like, he going broke again.”

In other news, per Complex, T-Pain has just launched the Global Gaming League, a multi-title gaming entertainment league that aims to “revolutionize the industry,” as stated in a press release. T-Pain shared his vision for the league, saying it will become a household name.

“The GGL will make gaming a household name,” T-Pain stated. “It’s the fastest growing form of entertainment in the world, and we all game, yet, it’s completely disconnected from mainstream, pop culture, and the streets. This is what The Global Gaming League is going to change.”
