The World Boss is back outside in a major way! Dancehall legend Vybz Kartel is set to perform in the United States for the first time ever on April 11, 2025, at 8 PM, shutting down the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This marks a historic moment for the genre, as Kartel, known for hits like “Fever” “Clarks” and “Summertime”, finally touches U.S. soil for a highly anticipated live performance.

This announcement comes just months after his first post-prison performance in Jamaica, which went down in December 2024 and had the entire island buzzing. The homecoming show was his first time back on stage since being incarcerated in 2014 for murder charges—a conviction that was overturned in March 2024. Following his release, the demand for Kartel’s presence has skyrocketed, with fans eager to see the deejay in action after a decade-long hiatus.

Now, Brooklyn—home to one of the largest Caribbean populations outside of Jamaica—is about to witness a Dancehall takeover like never before. Barclays Center is expected to be packed with fans ready to sing every lyric word-for-word, as Kartel gears up to reclaim his throne on the international stage.

Fans can secure their tickets starting Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10 AM EST via Ticketmaster and Barclays Center’s official website. Given the hype surrounding this show, expect tickets to sell out FAST!
