Lil Durk is now dealing with another wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of Saviay’a Robinson, who was the cousin of Quando Rondo. Durk and five others are accused of trying to murder him back in 2022.

According to Postman Law and Roden Law, Robinson’s car was attacked in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, on August 19, 2022, while he was with Quando Rondo. The assailants shot multiple times into the passenger side near the Beverly Center, leaving Robinson critically injured. He sadly passed away shortly after reaching the hospital.

Robinson’s death, according to HypeBeast, is now being connected to a federal indictment against Banks and his co-defendants, including Kavon London Grant (also known as Cuz or Vonnie), Deandre Dontrell Wilson (DeDe), Asa Houston (Boogie), Keith Jones (Flacka), and David Brian Lindsey (Browneyez), which was filed in late October 2024. The lawsuit claims that Durk and his associates, some of whom are part of his rap group and alleged gang Only the Family, used “interstate facilities to carry out the murder that took Robinson’s life” while they were trying to kill Quando Rondo. Postman Law also mentioned that “Authorities then initiated further investigations into OTF’s activities, revealing a troubling pattern of violence and retaliation under Banks’ leadership.”

Warren Postman, the Managing Partner at Postman Law and representative for Robinson’s family, stated, “The premature loss of Mr. Robinson has devastated his family and community. We filed this lawsuit to hold those responsible accountable and to ensure his family receives the support they need during this difficult time.” Robinson is remembered as “a dedicated father of three young kids and a hardworking entrepreneur.”
