Lil Tjay Banned from MSG After Spitting on Security

Lil Tjay was kicked out of Madison Square Garden after an altercation with security at a boxing event over the weekend. The Bronx rapper attended the WBO Lightweight Championship bout and accidentally broke a light fixture. A security guard confronted him, leading to a tense exchange. Tjay clapped back, telling the guard, “I just played my parlay. You broke. Shut up.”

Things escalated when security tried to escort Tjay from the venue, prompting a member of his team to intervene. As the situation heated up, Tjay lifted his hat and spit at the guard in retaliation. He was then forcibly removed from the premises by additional MSG personnel. TMZ confirmed that he is now banned from all MSG properties indefinitely.

A Madison Square Garden spokesperson issued a statement reinforcing their strict policy against confrontational behavior. “Patrons engaging in disruptive conduct will be escorted out and banned,” they told TMZ. This isn’t the first time Tjay has been involved in a public altercation. In 2023, he nearly fought someone at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, threatening his own security for holding him back.

During the Summer Jam incident, Tjay repeatedly warned his bodyguard, “You’re gonna get fired,” while demanding to be released. His history of heated exchanges continues to make headlines. Whether this latest incident affects future performances remains unclear. But for now, MSG won’t be welcoming him back anytime soon.
