Women Accusing Top Dawg Entertainment of Sexual Misconduct Stand Firm After Label Dismisses Lawsuit as Extortion

One of the women suing Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) for sexual misconduct has firmly stood by her accusations after the label’s lawyer dismissed the lawsuit as a “shakedown.”

The lawsuit, filed on January 31, claims that several TDE employees, including senior executives Brandon Tiffith and Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith Jr. — both sons of the label’s founder, Top Dawg — subjected the women to sexual harassment and assault.

In response, TDE’s attorney, Marty Singer, accused the plaintiffs, Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, of extortion. Singer stated,

“This is a clear example of a shakedown lawsuit by Linda Luna and Ayah Altayri, who made a demand of $48 million through their attorneys on fabricated claims. These attorneys are simply looking for their 10 minutes of fame.”

Singer also insisted that there are text messages and other communications that disprove the women’s allegations. Additionally, he pointed out that neither Luna nor Altayri had ever been employed by TDE, expressing confidence that the label would prevail in court.

However, Luna, one of the women suing the label, responded by posting on social media, sharing what she claimed were proof of her working with TDE. Alongside a photo with other TDE staff, she wrote, “Management memories with Alemeda but I’m lying??”

She also posted an image of herself with Moosa, writing,

“But I never worked with TDE??? Hmm, and my legal team nor I have ever asked for $48 million, nor any other dollar amount. This is why it’s hard for women to come forward, but we will let this play in court with the evidence.”

Luna continued, expressing frustration over the industry’s culture:

“It’s unfortunate that women in this male-dominated industry are conditioned to think that this type of manipulation and abuse is normal, and we accept it… not anymore.”

In a follow-up post, Luna emphasized the personal nature of her fight:

“This is my truth, and I am finally standing up for myself. This doesn’t have anything to do with any artist beef… In no way, shape, or form is this a plot or agenda to bring anyone down… this is my life.”

The lawsuit accuses Brandon Tiffith of unwanted sexual advances and sexual battery, while Anthony Tiffith Jr. is accused of a “pattern of sexual harassment” involving both women. One plaintiff, who is described as a friend of a TDE artist, claims that she was sexually harassed twice by TDE employees, with one offering her alcohol (despite her being underage) as part of an attempt to make sexual advances.

The plaintiffs’ attorney, Shounak S. Dharap, also issued a statement, calling the lawsuit a clear example of the systemic abuse and exploitation that often occurs in the entertainment industry. “Our clients trusted TDE to act with integrity and professionalism. Instead, their trust was betrayed in profoundly damaging ways. They’re bringing this lawsuit because they refuse to be silenced and because they intend to hold TDE accountable in court,” Dharap stated.

The lawsuit was filed just days before TDE’s big night at the 2025 Grammy Awards on February 2, where SZA won Best R&B Song, Doechii took home Best Rap Album, and Kendrick Lamar, a former TDE signee, claimed five awards for his hit “Not Like Us,” including Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
