Method Man Allegedly Involved in Assault

Method Man, born Clifford Smith Jr., is allegedly facing assault charges after assaulting a family friend at a Crunch Fitness gym on Staten Island.

According to the New York Post, law enforcement shared that the 53 year-old rapper allegedly punched Patrick Sokoya,28, in the face seven times “with a closed fist.” It is alleged that the altercation occurred as a result of a relationship between Sokoya had with the rappers daughter.

The victim alleges that Smith brought pain to his face and was feeling dizzy but refused medical attention at the time of the crime. Despite a complaint report being filed with NYPD, the “Wu Tang” rapper was not arrested.
