Cardi B Airs out the Dirty Laundry: Is Offset a Deadbeat?

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, chose violence today when she took to social media to air out the truth behind her and Offset’s relationship.

The pair got married back in September of 2017 and have faced a public and tumultuous relationship. From cheating scandals on both sides, court cases, and potential divorce, the duo appeared to always find their way back together. However, the couple’s most recent split in late 2024 seems to be more promising than the others.

Since the split, the couple has made headlines several times with no signs of reconciliation in the near future. Despite their troubles, Cardi has maintained that Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is a great father to his children. But after today, that statement seems to be in question as Cardi revealed some shocking details.

The Bronx native took to social media to reveal that their kids did not receive any gifts from their father on Christmas Day. She claims the rapper came to New York to buy gifts for his other children but didn’t get anything for their kids nor attempted to see them. She also said that she noticed, “every single time a motherfucker did something publicly to embarrass me, I noticed that they did that on purpose.” She claims that Offset “tried to ruin” her like he did the previous year. Cardi made it clear that things don’t hurt her when it’s directed at her, but when it comes to her kids, that’s when it becomes a problem.

The “I Like It” rapper shed light on the reasons behind their problems, stating that Offset bothered her peace by making her feel like she wasn’t enough because she “never listened.” Belcalis emphasized that she always put her husband first, and hearing those words from him was a shock, especially since she had remained loyal through it all.

Cardi made it clear that she didn’t want to bring things to social media, but the constant behind-the-scenes games were becoming too much. She revealed that Offset had made it clear he had not accepted the divorce because he wanted to see his kids and didn’t want to accept her terms. She also mentioned that the Atlanta native called his newborn for the first time yesterday in 2025. The most shocking revelation was when Cardi claimed that Offset and his mother allegedly robbed her.
