Cam’ron has fired back at Jim Jones following recent comments from his fellow Diplomats member. During an episode of It Is What It Is on Monday (Jan. 13), Cam addressed remarks Jones made earlier this month on Justin Laboy’s podcast. Jones had claimed that Ma$e disrespected Cam after signing with Bad Boy and questioned Cam’s Harlem roots, sparking a fresh wave of tension between the two.

“You’re a guardian angel in designer,” Cam said in response. “You’re from The Bronx, bro. You are not from Harlem. I did not grow up with you.”

Cam went on to recount how their relationship began, claiming Jones reached out to him after hearing his mixtapes.

“You heard our freestyles and came up to me saying, ‘Yo man, my grandmother died. If y’all wanna come by, you’re welcome.’ You were fanned out and begged us to come to your house,” Cam said.

He also alleged that Ma$e taught Jones how to rap and played old interviews where Jones seemingly confirmed this.

“We taught you how to rap,” Cam added. “You didn’t run the Diplomats. You were a fan. I put you down because you had a free crib and you were a nice guy.”

Past Issues Resurface

The tension escalated further due to Cam’s recent interview with 50 Cent on his Talk With Flee YouTube show. Jones reportedly took issue with the interview, referencing past friction between Dipset and G-Unit, particularly when Juelz Santana and Jones joined 50 Cent at a G-Unit show in 2007.

Cam dismissed the criticism, pointing out that Jones has reconciled with others he previously feuded with.

“You make up with everyone who put hands on you,” Cam said. “I see you with C-Gutta from Junior M.A.F.I.A. I see you sitting with Tru Life and Mendeecees. Y’all had gunshots in those beefs, and now you’re sitting down with them.”

50 Cent also weighed in, sharing a clip of Cam’s rant on Instagram. “Jimmy, you better holla at Cam privately and chill out,” 50 wrote, urging the two to resolve their issues behind the scenes.

Cam’s Final Statement

Cam ended his remarks by making it clear he’s done addressing the situation publicly.

“This is going to be the last time I address this,” he said. “I’m not doing this every seven, eight, nine, 10 years. Whatever you got to say after this, I wish you luck. I got other s–t to do.”

Whether this will truly mark the end of the back-and-forth between Cam’ron and Jim Jones remains to be seen, but the fallout has left fans wondering if the Diplomats can ever fully reconcile.
