Ice Spice Booed off Stage in Australia

Ice Spice, born Isis Naija Gaston, was booed off stage last night during her New Year’s Eve performance in Australia at Brisbane’s Wilsland’s Festival.
The Bronx-born rapper was scheduled to perform a 30-minute set but only performed for 5 minutes. The “Munch” rapper arrived 25 minutes late to her set performance. Concertgoers said she only performed two to three songs before her mic was cut.

Once her time slot was up the stage was cleared quickly. Spice flashed a peace sign as she was booed off stage. Fans spent upwards of $240 with some traveling more than five hours to see the star perform. Many took to social media to express their disappointment with the rappers attitude. One fan stated “yer you can’t hold up the entire festival. I’m sure she had months to prepare…”. Another fan said “good. Artist can’t just be disrespectful of other people’s time when they think they got it like that. They don’t and never will”
