Beyoncé Shines in Netflix Christmas Day Halftime Spectacle with Post Malone, Shaboozey, and Blue Ivy
There is no Christmas gift quite like Beyoncé’s halftime show, especially with the special guests who joined her.
On Wednesday, December 25, the iconic artist graced the stage during the Ravens-Texans game in her native Houston, Texas, delivering a stunning performance that has been dubbed the “Beyoncé Bowl.” She made a grand entrance on horseback, adorned in a white-feathered gown and a western hat, kicking off the show with “16 Carriages.”
As she dismounted and made her way through the back of the stadium, Beyoncé switched to a red, white, and blue “Cowboy Carter” sash to perform her rendition of “Blackbird.” In a dazzling display, she then appeared at the center of the field in a sparkling bodysuit and chaps, performing “Ya Ya.”
The excitement escalated as lights illuminating “My House” lit up the stands, igniting cheers from the audience while Beyoncé danced to “Riverdance.” She traversed, according to PEOPLE, the field lined with a marching band, where she was joined by Shaboozey, featured on her track “Sweet Honey Buckiin.”
The star-studded celebration continued with Post Malone performing “Levii’s Jeans,” after which Beyoncé climbed onto the back of a vintage truck to sing “Jolene.”
She concluded her performance with the hit “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and was soon joined by her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. In a subtle nod to her daughter, she altered a lyric to say: “Then spin me in the middle, Blue, I can’t read your mind.” The mother-daughter pair showcased an intricate line dance before Beyoncé ascended on a platform adorned with a banner that read “BANG.”
This remarkable performance was part of Netflix’s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday. Under its partnership with the NFL, viewers can watch the Ravens-Texans game, along with the Chiefs-Steelers matchup, for three hours following the livestream.
The Christmas show also marked the live debut of tracks from Beyoncé’s latest album, Cowboy Carter, which features collaborations with artists such as Miley Cyrus, Dolly Parton, and Willie Nelson.
